Highly successful companies are known for their superior execution, which is based on employees’ willingness to do more than is expected. If, on the other hand, employees are overly concerned about the potential consequences of their actions, they may simply choose paths that minimize the opportunities for failure while, at the same time, limit opportunities for success.
