Customers supply the wonder drug: Revenue

Companies can only survive if they receive regular amounts of revenue from customers.  Revenue can be thought of as the wonder drug that is essential to a company’s well-being.  And the drug must be taken forever.  There is only one supplier of the wonder drug: customers.
