Rail Diagrams are a helpful tool to objectivity assess different opportunities.

This Rail Diagrams provide a simple method to compare different alternatives.   The comparison is made by establishing upper and lower limits, maximums or minimums, or extreme options.  With those “rails” or limits, the item can then be assessed as being closer to one limit or the other.  Creating a rail diagram is a simple and straightforward process.
