Goals in an MBO program can be crafted for individuals at every level to reward performance.
Using a Management by Objectives (MBO) program in which individuals and groups within a company define specific performance goals and the associated metrics can create a common focus to help an organization meet its well-defined success criteria. Rewarding individuals for their performance in meeting their goals helps provide additional motivation. A key element in the program is the mutual establishment and agreement of the goals and the required performance levels by both the employee and their manager.
