Executive MBAs have unique skill sets that make them valuable to Private Equity firms.

Private Equity professionals have a difficult job when becoming actively involved in a new company acquisition.  PE firms invest in companies believing they can uncover and unlock a company’s intrinsic but unrealized value.  Discovering the key core issues and developing and implementing plans to address the issues is difficult.  Individuals with real-world experience and an Executive MBA have unique skills that can significantly increase the likelihood of success.  It is not the EBMA degree per se that is critical.  Instead, the underlying in and out-of-classroom lessons learned make them valuable in the PE environment.
