All groups need to support Customer Service Departments as part of their normal activities.
Virtually every company creates a Customer Service Department tasked with resolving customer issues. Unfortunately, in most cases, those departments have the responsibility but do not have the authority or tools necessary to perform their mission successfully. They need to rely on others who have different goals and objectives. Companies need to promote the notion that customer service activities extend well beyond the Customer Service Department.
