Texting and emails are only appropriate for certain types of communications. Be careful.

Today, thanks to some remarkable technological advances, we have a wide variety of methods that we can use to communicate with one another.  The always-on, always available, always monitored capability of cell phones has become almost the defacto standard for interpersonal communications.  Emails are obviously the currently dominant method of corporate communications.  However, relying on text-only communications results in a significant part of the act of communicating easily lost.  Carefully select the most appropriate method not the most expedient method to communicate with others.
