A successful product launch can result in delayed revenue.

It is easy to quickly change focus when exposed to new ideas or products.  In fact, gaining attention is the major goal of any product announcement.  However, new attraction can result in unforeseen consequences that can be avoided if addressed before the actual launch occurs.  It is equally important to consider the potential reactions of prospects and sales reps when introducing a new product.  Product announcements do not pay the bills.  Continued revenue from existing products or timely revenue from new products need to be carefully considered.
