Avoid Black Eyes

Look carefully for root causes in all encounters to identify subtle but serious weaknesses.

When in competitive fights, suffering some black eyes is inevitable; it is virtually impossible to win every contest and leave totally unscathed.  However, if black eyes become commonplace events, look carefully for systemic issues that may not be obvious but may be common to all engagements.
