You can only set the stage; the customer will form their own expectations.
A customer’s level of satisfaction only partially depends on the product or service’s performance in meeting their needs. Their expectations play a significant role in how they view you and the opinions that they form about your company and your offering. You cannot set their expectations, but you can provide them with guidance and understanding to help them set their appropriate expectations.
