The First Day

Carefully planning a new employee's first day’s activities makes a lasting impression.

Although most employees will view the day as business as usual, that first day of employment by a new person will be filled with anticipation, excitement, and, perhaps, with some level of intimidation.  It does not take much planning or effort to make their first day an overwhelming success by showing them the extra effort individuals have made to welcome them into the “family.”  The new person will never forget the experience.
