Process Template File

This one-page Excel™ template is remarkably effective as a high-level process overview.

It can be challenging to determine how to start defining a process.  A simple one-page tool helps to frame the entire discussion.  This tool is easy to fill out and can be used to map out an entire overall business process program.  Article 6.030503, “Common Process Elements,” defines each of the required areas involved in any process.  The tool is straightforward and can be filled out by virtually anyone involved with the activity.  Once filled out, confusion about roles and responsibilities is often eliminated.
