Practical implementation methods need to be considered in the earliest stages of development.

How a new product or product upgrade will be integrated into a customer’s existing environment must be considered in the very earliest phases of the product specification and design efforts.  A product development effort cannot be considered complete until end users are, in fact, using it in real-world applications and are able to reach that point without any undue burdens placed upon them.
