Calculating Limited Partner returns from venture capital investments is extremely complex.

As discussed in article 8.020301, creating an accurate model of the returns that Limited Partners receive from Venture Capital Fund investments is very difficult.  This Excel™ workbook, with its many assumptions, attempts to provide some insight into the economics associated with venture capital investments by limited partners.  The results should only be considered “directionally correct.”
