Attorneys sell their time, buy it wisely, and only when necessary.

It seems that everyone makes fun of attorneys, even other attorneys.  Retaining legal counsel for even the smallest companies is an absolute requirement.  Carefully selecting the attorney that best suits your present needs and determining when to rely on them for which specific activities is critical.
