An example of an FAQ document that addresses investor’s potential questions.

Initial “pitch” presentations to investors are generally short, ten to fifteen slides in length, and are restricted to twenty to thirty minutes.  The sole purpose of the presentation is to pique the interest of the investors so they commit to having a second, more detailed meeting.  With the time constraints of the first meeting, rather sweeping generalizations have to be made.  However, during or after the presentation, the investors may ask detailed questions.  The entrepreneur must be able to provide clear, concise, and compelling answers to those questions.  Therefore, preparing responses to the potentially dozens or hundreds of questions that may arise is essential to establish credibility.
