It is easy for an entrepreneur to fall into the trap of looking for financial investor funding as soon as their new company idea and vision appear in their head.  The media and the entrepreneur community promote this notion.  Unfortunately, this approach is rarely successful.  There are several other funding sources that an entrepreneur should explore first.
