Employee M/A Anxiety

Increased levels of anxiety will be ever-present until merging activities are complete.

Even the hint or some type of M/A transaction will result in a marked increase in anxiety for almost every individual in the organization.  Probably, the farther away a person is from the actual discussions, the higher the level of their anxiety will be.  Younger workers and those with more marketable skills may be impacted less but may also be the first to leave.  Management at all levels must understand the anxiety wave that will hit the company.
