An investor pitch should summarize the details that address obvious investor questions.

To get a seat at the table in a poker game, one must “ante up” — throw in some money for the right to play the game.  Investor pitches are analogous to the ante.  However, with investors, they decide on the game, set all the rules, and choose when to deal the cards.  This is not a game for bluffing.  An entrepreneur better be ready to play the game.  In this case, their “hands” need to hold the answers to many questions that will certainly be asked during and immediately after the pitch.  Develop those answers before you develop your pitch “ante.”  Your goal should be to win, not just play.  This article contains the list of questions.
