Don’t Share Your Presentation

Presentation slides without narration can lead to erroneous conclusions.

Your investor presentation slides typically include only a few words or phrases, figures, and charts.  Think of the slide content as data.  Your explanation converts that data into information.  If your charts are shared with others who are not in attendance, the crucial information is lost, and only the data remains, leading others to decide what it means.  Instead, send integrated notes with your slides.  This technique allows you to tell others what the slide says.
