CEOs are the proverbial middlemen between the company and the financial investors. In most cases, investments have been made based on the belief that the company, under the CEO’s guidance, will deliver the financial investor’s envisioned returns. Financial investors typically have several other investments in their portfolio or other activities that occupy a significant portion of their time. It is the CEO’s responsibility to foster the relationship between the company and all investors.
