Consciously take time to show employees that you care about them as people.

There is an old saying that “business is business.”  It can be applied to many different situations.  However, every manager must keep in mind that people run business and people are human!  All of us respond to how we are treated.  Positive attitudes largely depend on how others acknowledge us and show their appreciation for what we do and who we are.  Take time for people.
