There are several common traps that entrepreneurs regularly fall into that can have serious, and sometimes fatal impacts on their businesses.  They are based on simple, seemingly logical decisions that are made as part of the daily activities of starting a business.  Unfortunately, they have unforeseen consequences that could, in fact, be seen with a little more thought.  Once the potential consequences have been identified before the path is taken, positive alternative actions become obvious.  A gotchas checklist are available in subsequent articles.
