Ask Someone Who Doesn’t Know

As they say, “You can’t see the forest for the trees,” ask an outsider for help.

It is easy to fall into the trap of “groupthink,” in which multiple people with the same background and experience accept events or develop common understandings based on the past.  Involving individuals with no preconceived ideas can provide insight and new ways of looking at old problems.
