Entrepreneurs who are artists or subject matter experts face unique challenges; get help!

Artists and Subject Matter Experts shared some common issues compared to their entrepreneur counterparts who are starting a company based on the perceived needs of customers.  However, there are some significant differences as well.  Artists and SMEs have matured skills and capabilities in hand and then offer them to prospects who value their work products.  With these skills and capabilities, it is much easier for them to start their businesses but far more difficult to scale them because they are time-resource limited.  Figuring out how to replicate their efforts to accommodate multiple customers is challenging.  However, it is not the only challenge they face.  They must also develop methods to address all business-related issues, such as producing, marketing, selling, fulfilling orders, and supporting customers.  Developing a plan to address the scalability issue is key to their success.  The article 3.010103, “Idea or Skilled Focused Entrepreneurs,” discusses this concept in more detail.
