Five to Eight Activities

Company support of employee involvement in outside organizations benefits everyone.

The forty-hour work week represents only 25% of an employee’s available time.  Many employees spend a significant portion of their personal time helping others through outside activities.  Companies should recognize and promote employee involvement as part of their adherence to the seventh principle, “Be a Responsible and Active Corporate Citizen.”
