Not Too Wide Angle Views

Too many points of view can be just as problematic as too few when making decisions.

Casting a broad net may result in a load that is too large to pull in.  The same situation often occurs when too many well-meaning people become involved in a decision process.  Instead of involving everyone who could have an input, restrict the discussions and resulting decision-making process to those with intimate knowledge and those directly impacted by the decision.  The key ingredient required for this approach to be effective is the feeling of trust between all those involved and those who are not directly involved.
