Reports — Ugh!

The need for reports seems to grow without bound in an organization; are they necessary?

Recently, there has been a worldwide reduction in the amount of paper used.  This hardly indicates that the “paperless society” is around the corner.  While paper use has declined, the proliferation of reporting has increased almost without bound.  The challenge is to stem this tide.  The key ingredient in this effort is trust, not technology.
