Making Time Versus Taking Time

Show others that you are human and truly care about them and not just the work they do.

Virtually every senior company manager repeats the mantra that “our people are our most important asset.”  Most believe it to be true.  Unfortunately, some of us say it with conviction but don’t necessarily allow our actions to demonstrate that stated belief.  The key method to truly live this philosophy is to make time for human interaction instead of just viewing the activity as one more to-do item to be added to your task list.  The difference is subtle, but the results will be significantly different.
